I know that the EVO can operate in the cold pretty well as long as you keep the battery warm. I would like to ask all of you since I live in a desert area like many of you and the weather is getting warm. In a couple of days even in the 90's F, many times during the summer well over 100. The battery does have an option to stop charging if overheating but that's about it. Has anyone heard even X Star product, what is the maximum temperature and what happens, if any, when the drone hits that high temp? Thank you.

One of the fellows that flew the XSP in Arizona stopped flying when the temp reached 110F. He said mid day temps would hover around 125-130F so he did most of flights in the morning or late evening just to be on the safe side.
Planes are grounded in extreme heat so why should our UAV's be any different?

I somewhat recall them (Autel) suggesting not to fly at 104 F or more. I've never heard of anyone that has tried flying in temps that high. I was often in temps higher than that and did not fly because of it.

Palm Springs & Mojave Airports, and a few military fields in that general area, have the same issues. They can shutter flight-ops due to extreme heat...
