Electric Skateboard Tech

I saw a short video of two guys who para-glided from the oceanside cliffs, flew around for a while, landed on the beach then stowed their chutes in the backpacks they had on after they took out the electric skateboards they carried and took off down the beach. I wasn't familiar with what these boards could do and was fascinated- so I bought one and Im finding out that here in Michigan -where you can shoot, drink and smoke - don't even think of getting on a skateboard. At least thats how it is in my area. Im really disapointed.
