Do IOS and android have different versions number for Autel Explore ?

The IPAD is 1.6.5. The other is 1.6.6.

The IOS version is usually developed first. You can already program your buttons in the ios version for instance.

You've missed a decimal place, it's actually far worse ?

iOS: 1.6.5

Android: 1.1.6.6
