Invisible wall stopping my Evo Pro 2?

Ive experienced the same issue. Start with checking the setting mentioned already. Not in novice mode, no max distance set, ect. But my money is on, turn off the obstacle avoidance. In the mornings and afternoons, the sun catches the sensors just right and makes you hit an invisible wall. You...

    Geofencing on Autel Drones?

I've previously attempted not this form but the original version. They have had something similar to this going since the update that included the geo zones. I received a reply from Autel saying the unlocking services were only available to customers outside the US. And that they would not be...

    Geofencing on Autel Drones?

I know this is an old thread, but for what it's worth, I know of geofencing that is currently active on atleast the Evo 2 platform. If you fly in a zone that gets flagged as a "No fly zone" while flying. You are unable to use any of the "intelligent flight modes". Meaning, no active track, no...

    Geofencing has arrived

I'm happy to report, we were probably victims of the classic IT fix it trick. Worked with Ken to come up with a flight test plan to document our lock out, and the aircraft preformed flawlessly. We receive an initial NFZ alert on start up. Which soon goes away, and intelligent modes seem un...

    Geofencing has arrived

Missions work perfectly. So if that's your bread and butter your still un touched by this. Anything on the mission side of the app is still just as it always has been. The only thing that's not are the intelligent flight modes under camera. So things like the smart orbit, dynamic track, ect...

    Geofencing has arrived

Absolutely, we do. I see that, with the waypoint mission planning, and it's functions, we should be able to recreate anything we were capturing with an intelligent mode. Everything on the mission planner side of the house is, and always has been 100% functional.

    Geofencing has arrived

Since the NFZ update we've seen it both ways. First app version that came along with the NFZ update, they were not functioning, after an update they were functional, and now we're back to non functional. Our policy has been to run the most current stable versions of aircraft firmware, and app...

    Geofencing has arrived

Which was bugged? Since the implementation of NFZ anywhere we fly has been identified as a no fly zone. So that has never changed. So is it a bug that the intelligent flight modes are locked out now? Or that they ever worked in the first place? I don't mean to be a broken record, but the...

    Geofencing has arrived

I can firmly say, they certainly were functional previous app version. Lol We've reached out to our vendor we purchase through as well to see if they had any way to plead our case for a DJI style unlock system to be developed. As I said above, those intelligent modes are not a mainstay of...

    Geofencing has arrived

iOS version 1.11.37 and Android version 1.1.7.83 I unfortunately can't remember the name of the representative we spoke to but we had our call yesterday. If I'm remembering right, the app version has been out since July. We don't operate with the beta firmware releases. I would say 75% of...

    Geofencing has arrived

That's actually a good question to know the answer to. As far as counter UAS planning goes, knowing that tid bit could be useful. I was definitely bummed after getting off the phone with Autel when they delivered the news. This same thing had happened two app versions ago. But the answer then...

    Geofencing has arrived

Things programed in the mission planner seem to work perfectly. We have not tested the lost connection behavior. Due to the high risk of operation on an airport, it's not really something were interested in experimenting with. Our SOP calls for the lost link option to be set to return to home...

    Geofencing has arrived

United States. Another note, mapping missions still function, it is just the intelligent flight modes that are locked. Orbit, smart orbit, dynamic track, ect.

    Geofencing has arrived

Depending on where you fly, you might start to see the first signs of autels geo fencing. I'm going to be alittle vague here, but I work at an airport, and operate a fleet of Evo 2 v1s for various tasks around the field. Our airfield is marked as a no fly zone in autel explorer (for obvious...

Many Retailers no longer carrying V1 Remote Controls

The official word from Autel is in. The no nonsense answer is, anything that sends or recieves radio signals will not be cross compatible. Im on my phone at the moment, when I get home I'll post a screenshot of the reply to give myself the proper level of credibility. Thanks again for all...
