I made the mistake of buying the Evo2 pro v3 also. I bought the rugged package which had the SE Controller... The display was useless on a golf course in full sun, even after standing in the shade of a tree.... SO.. i got even stupider... I bought the bigger 6.9" 2000 NIT controller separately...
