EVO II I believe

nope, just tweaked on the EV value. -2 and an #8 filter. here's a typical shot

been flying controller only since I got my EVO 2+ years ago, never a problem, video and stills are as expected, very good. It's simple, no complications with the extra tech to worry about or get distracted from. Never once thought "wow, I need a smart thing" to make this better 1mans opinion

I retired from Rockclimbing awhile back. last year took the drone to my 'ol haunts and filmed. You DO want to practice at distance. I would fly the contours, maybe 200' away from the face, then "sneak" in, paying attention to the drone and what it was doing. filming the rock faces in close...

I shoot at 30 but I post-process at 120, ya they are huge files, but I don't upload them anywhere.

fwiw I get what I call the hurky-jurky's, took me awhile to separate what's causing it. In my case if i'm filming and command fwd or reverse, the initial drone "thrust" is too much for the gimble to compensate for. to test, film stationary, for a minute. stop filming so a new file is created...

If there were tail #'s, I took many pics, looked, zoomed, nothing, when you don't play by the rules in flight no sense advertising ;)

LOL, the pilot did that also, it was making CCW loops so I could hear it coming, i'd pop down, wait for it to pass, then pop up and shoot it with the camera :rolleyes:

yep, once I figured out the Helo didn't care, I flew at treetop level, that I was sure the Helo cared about! ;)

LOL, I wasn't concerned why they were there, I was concerned that flying below 100' in a giant Helo, over 2K PPL, might get ugly if a system failed. I moved my vehicle and sUAV way back to the tree line.... just in case:)

thanks I had an occasion a month ago to fly in really crowded, un-restricted, airspace, 4 sUAV and 3 piloted craft all wanting the same 100 Acre piece of private land with 2000 + folks enjoying the day. The worse piloted craft was manned. Even mentioned it to the County Sheriff, he just...

any word on how the mighty TOR happened to catch the evil pilot?

I'm still baffled that a license is required to sell a house, or fly a camera in airspace that NO piloted craft would EVER be, well unless crash landing

LOL, pretty sure there are none left. the discussion IS OUR (USA) dictating who can and cannot buy drones, who can and cannot fly them. where they can be flown...... in other words, dictatorial
