The one Autel has branded isn't very helpful and it's riddled with errors that force close the app. I too have had issues with thermoconverter not reading files from the V2 dual cam. I'm looking for Autel to fix either option, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wouldn't for what you are wanting to do. It has a 1" sensor, not a full sensor or 4/3 sensor, which you would want. You would definitely want a solar filter for all but Totality or you will burn your sensor. I don't think they make any because there's not really a use case for it on a drone...

The enterprise can accommodate different attachments and has a different air frame with carbon fiber arms. The Evo 2 pro RTK can only accommodate the RTK attachment. The Evo 2 pro can accommodate no attachment.

I have first hand experience with switching the thermal camera of a V2 on a V1 body does not work. I have others who verified that you can do this and they have done this without issue. All that to say, your mileage may vary when swapping payloads between V1 and V2 drones.

The release notes says it only works with V2 drones (and is optional) and I would be sure that's the case. I have never used that version of the explorer app and only use the original explorer app for v1 and v2 drones.

We run V1 and v2 drones. We've never had an issue using the same android devices for either. It's the same app for both.

I too can attest that the V1 6K gimbal works on the V2 body. But I have yet to get the 640T dual to work on the V2 body (non-enterprise).
