Yes the battery was near fully charged, and did NOT disengage from the bird. In all fairness the 2 crashesoccured with my first drone, which I returned. The 2nd one has been ok, but I have been very tentative and have only flown it 3 times, for less than 10 mins. each.

I don't mean to be repetitious, but have tried to point this out. Both times that my Nano+ "dropped", it was because the PROPS STOPPED ABRUPTLY and the MOTOR WENT DEAD ( for whatever reason). There was NO option for controlling the drone anymore than I could have controlled a rock in mid-air.

In the 2 "crashes" I experienced with my first Nano+, there was no "disconnection" from the controller. It was just a sudden stopping of the props and the drone dropping like a stone. The only common situationwas - I think- that it was when the RTH had been activated. I would question (my)...

This is very disheartening ! I had posted a crash experience with my Nano+ and managed to return the drone to Amazon, since it was "defective" even though I had had it for 3 months. Going over the various postings led me to question whether it was a freak occurence and/or operator error...
