No I'm a fair distance from there. I googled it though, and it looks amazing. I'm just over the border. When lockdown ends I'll have to check that place out.
An onscreen warning BEFORE auto land & the ability to just override it & keep flying. I want to be in control or be the fault, not some automated drone land. Also a screen button for ludicrous mode ASAP.
I had a problem with my drone, the camera going out of focus, then like an idiot I flew too low & it landed in water! I managed to get it close to the bank but both the gimbal & 2 sensors went! I contacted Autel (I'd already started a complaint about the focus issue) & they asked me to ship it...
At least you didn't have to send it to China like I did from the UK! Went over 2 weeks ago & they finally got it yesterday. Now got to wait for the engineers, then get it shipped back! Really poor service options if you're not in the states. If I knew this prior I would have got a dji to be...
Sounds like it but really poor idea. If I want to fly low it would be better having an override say a popup that asks if you want to land or even not landing unless I press that button. Assume I want to fly low until that button is pressed? Ah well live & learn.
So I'm new to drones & have flown a few times (hard in the rubbish weather we have at the moment in Yorkshire). In all my flights I had focus issues randomly & was working with Autel about this when on my last flight, I had only two moments of focus issues. But on that flight I was filming low...
Just a quick intro, I got an Evo II Pro, have never flown anything before, butI've always wanted one so here we are! Had 2 flights so far, both in really high winds, but I was desperate to play!
Here's some footage from my first attempt.
