I also tend to stick with 1080p at 30 or 60 frames. I have old computers for editing, and our TV only does 720p anyway. I am in a similar spot to Bama dude, love the TV and the ole plasma won't die! 1080p takes up a bit less of my precious storage space and is easier to edit on my machines...
