So, I have two Evo 1's that work fine. But the FCC beacon is an issue for me. Have you or anyone come up with a good priced beacon that can be attached to the Evo 1? If so, is it light enough that it won't impair the flight quality?

I also have two Evo 1's and they are flawless. They do what you ask them to do without any fuss. They also have great video. Unfortunately, I am getting out of the business and am thinking of selling all my Evos.

I have the same problem, but I am in Civil Air Patrol. They don't allow personal drones.

Can you tell us what you do to view the battery cycles? Where are you getting you information?

What would you say is the most important thing to do or not do to make your batteries last as long as you have?

It all depends on the deal. For example, I have two V1's that really are in great shape. This drone has 10 batteries all taken care of like they should be. Plus, I have an amplified antenna system. All of these are in Pelican cases. I'm not selling because this does everything a good drone...

I wouldn't worry about opening the case. It's fairly easy to do. But it might be simple corrosion. That does happen, especially in humid environments. Let us know if you get it fixed and good luck.

My first guess, like yours, is the antennas. It COULD be sunspot activity (the Kp index), or some other EM interference. The only other thing might be a bad solder connection somewhere. BTW, I have two Evo1s, and they still fly fantastic. I love them, and they won't be affected by the upcoming...
