Mark, I'm not suggesting I know the answer to your deliberation, but I've read that the controller has to be 'paired' to the bird, as you're doing, and the Controller and bird must be the same type, model etc. Best wish's Mainey

I've not used my Evo pro ll, V2 for about a year. Can I just download the latest available firmware? or, do I have to go right back to the start where I missed out on firmware downloads? tia

If Autel put out a 'firmware' update to get the older camera's to anywhere near the same level as the latest one, then no-one would buy the new model camera/drone, they would just update the firmware :) Autel would be broke with-in months with no new models to sell.

That's what I have been told too :( it came in the same box as the V2 drone so I believe it would be 'matched' to each other before sent it to me. Mine worked just as it was sent, have used it for only just 10 mins in the last few months :(
