I guess I'm late to the party but I just updated from the original Evo to the Lite Plus.

Looks like the android Autel Sky app is ready to update now.

Yeah, an explanation would be nice. Several Facebook groups had posted about the update...now all post referring to the update including comments have been removed.

I have android also. I did look on the apple app store and the ios version had updated Feb 24. So ios was good to go but apparently something went wrong with the firmware that caused Autel to pull it before android updated.

Reckon what happened???

What caused the anomaly would be my first concern. All that repair effort only to have a repeat would be disappointing.

From what I understand it does. I really want to try one but they don't seem available at this time.

I thoroughly understand about the winter weather. I agree that the Evo 1 should be able to handle the extra weight. I do wonder how the extra weight might affect the Evo's center of gravity. Thanks, Mark

Did you fly with this battery yet?

I didn't take any photos but I'll see what I can do. I still have one more damaged Evo battery that I plan to do. Making the top mate up properly is the worst part as the Gens Ace battery is a few mm thicker than the original battery. I did use CA glue on the seam but that is a less than optimal...

I used the entire battery minus the xt connector. Not quite enough room. You also need to solder the proper balance connector on the BMS balance leads. The only down side is the thickness of the battery. It is difficult to get a proper fit of the top part of the case. But the Evo flew just fine...

I have managed to repair a damaged Evo battery using this battery as a replacement Gens Ace Adventure High Voltage 4300mAh 3S1P 11.4V 50C Lipo Battery with XT60 Plug
