How about enabling your S21 phone’s ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature while you are flying your drone? On my Samsung Galaxy S10 it’s under Settings->Notifications, or just search for it in Settings. Remember to disable it afterwards.

I’ve used a Freewell Polarizing filter designed for the Nano’s camera on my Nano+ for a year and never saw the issues you mentioned. Was the filters you are using specifically designed for the Nano? If you remove the filter does the gimbal calibration complete, and the camera work properly...

Personally I’d contact Autel and get a replacement. I don’t have that issue with mine but I did find a video on YouTube showing how to disassemble the controller. It’s a bit complicated and requires some small Torx screwdrivers. I don’t think I’d try it myself but you can decide for yourself...

If a battery needs to be updated the app will inform you once a battery is installed and the drone and controller are powered up. Just wait a few seconds for them to all sync up.

Could you post the process that Autel recommended to “force” an update in case someone else would like to try it. BTW - I luckily installed the latest update without any issue and my Nano+ is working normally.

Mine pairs in less than 10 sec. using: Samsung Galaxy S10 5G with version 1.4.49 of the Autel Sky app V1.0.4.5 of the controller V1.6.5 of the Nano+ firmware.

Perhaps you have a bad controller. I’d contact Autel and see if you can send it in for repair or a replacement.

You might try recalibration of the controls. Settings > Control > RC Calibration
