So tell me this then, what non DJI or Autel drone could be purchased right now that does comply with Cat 2 or 3? Is there any sort of authoritative list from the FAA? I can't find one.

I guess it depends on where you are... but that notice hasn't caused any limitations for my drone. I'd suggest calling Autel tech support. Have you updated the drone as well as the controller?

Just got off the phone with Autel Technical Support. They say this warning is only intended for European countries and not for the U.S. and Canada. I was told to disregard this notification since it's not intended for me in the U.S. and that they would likely get it patched on their next update.

I'm seeing this notification when starting up Autel Explorer after doing the latest firmware update, which informs you that they are implementing geofencing for areas of conflict. I guess there is a geofence file we need to download? Wish they would provide more information.

Depending on where you are, some states offer free base station corrections services. Or for me, it's $600 a year to get GPS corrections through WiFi from the state. Then you're correct that you need a processing software but there are cheap/free options for that as well. Maps made easy (Cheap)...

Just gotta say that you can buy this same setup brand new right now for $2999... normally it is $3800. I use this drone for mapping. The RTK is awesome.

I'm impressed with how much work everyone has put into getting terrain follow to work on the Evo II Pro v3. If only Autel would listen, because the Slope mission sucks in real world use, it wastes a battery and is very difficult to get your flight height and spacings correct unless you can take...

it's a substitute for terrain follow. You don't use an elevation surface though. You use the drone to set a two points along the bottom or top of your mission and then fly the drone to the other end to establish your slope. Then you buffer out the polygon from that third point to create a square...

Looks like they just pushed a new Slope mission type. Not quite terrain follow, because it doesn't use an elevation source, you set the slope by flying the drone and establishing points.
