Sensors can also be tricked by the sun so if you had a reflective surface or the sun towards the sensor you sometimes get the warning.

I can confirm is safe to fly, i didn't notice any difference with either the updated battery or the old firmware ones. Hopefully the next firmware will actually be able to detect that the battery needs to update but until then no real issue.

The one that was in the drone at the time of the update is V1.3.9.0 and the other two are V1.3.7.0 (shown in red). The app shows no intention of trying to update the batteries though and from what I see there's no button to update.
