It's been 2.5 days. So you either need to enable installations from other sources, (annoying) OR not have the app since they're all at CES I guess and can't figure out why it's not in the play store. Whoever is over their mobile development would have gotten an email when it was pulled.

I use a key ring. :) Big key ring from Lowes, it was I think .49$. It goes around the phone holder arm, then lanyard clips to that. It blocks some view on the controller screen, but I mainly wanted it for balancing to mess with camera settings.

In humidity this is critical. The screen on the controller seems to be a great barometer for this. Once the fog on my controller screen is gone, I know the drone is good. Stupid southern humidity.

Quick question, with it "not working" do you get error messages? or it just does nothing? When I sent mine back in for some weirdness with this update, they couldn't reproduce it, even though I can reproduce it more often than not.

That was showing disconnect on phone, not on controller, sounds like he's seeing disconnect on controller as well as the phone. If they controller shows "connecting" then it's not the cable. If it's just the phone, then hit the display button on controller, and you can see the camera view...

Depending on your case, toss several silica gel packets in with the drone if you're worried. Even the soft autel case it really does help. Only downside to the soft case, is you have to "renew" the gel packets pretty often. I save almost all those packets, and even bought a bunch on amazon...

Scratch that. "no issues" turns into, we're doing test flights today, and going to validate it. :( aka, "no issues" sounds like it means it wasn't trashed and I hadn't flown it into a tree etc. No shots from the boat for me. Sigh. :(
