Ok, I used this method on the larger Smart controller with the 8" screen. It allows you to see the Android display on the computer monitor and also allows you to run the Android OS with the keyboard and mouse. For the video blurryness, make sure you select the 720 or 1080 HD resolution version.

It worked with the Standard Smart Controller V2 which is an Android device, as is the Smart Controller SE.

I did this and it worked great for the Smart Controller V2.. Maybe it will work with the SE.

Make sure you are on latest firmware and app. Then in the mission planning app turn on coordinated turns option. This works for V2 and V3.

Make sure you enable the rolling shutter "correction" in ODM. It's not perfect but worth evaluating. Works best if you know the exact speed of the readout.

This is a strange question and certainly not recommended.. But.. I have seen someone try flying the standard Evo2 with the "Enterprise" props so I was also curious if the Evo MAX props are comparable to the longer Enterprise props?

I don't think there is a way to unbind.. But it should not be needed. As soon as the smart controller is bound to another drone it has no memory of the previous.

You can see the data logged in the Rinex ascii file. I can add more information about base station data soon when the schedule opens up.

You can run a mission with the RTK module attached and then find the log files on the SD card. This always lets you post process the data using something like EMLID Studio once you find base station data (plenty of free data out there). To do this make sure you have RTK turned off in the app...

You can keep them on the shelf but the battery protection circuitry draws a few mAh so set a reminder for yourself to charge them back up to 50-70% every 3-4 months.

If the battery died before the rain came it may be in not bad shape and the amount of corrosion would be reduced. Also there is much less dissolved ions in rainwater so there would be much less residue

Emlid actually has some great tutorials as well. There are some good YouTube channels that explain it pretty well also.. Or you could look into a drone mapping course from a reputable organization then decide if it is for you.

Since it ships with the larger Smart Controller, it should have all the intelligent flight modes that were on previous Evo2's.
