    INSPIRE 2 SHOT DOWN

Since I would assume you were not behind the trigger when this happened, is there a story here?

Autel Robotics FLIR Duo Module Maiden Flight

Where did you come cross this little gem? Most of us don’t have access to unreleased modules.

    X Star Premium Please HELP

You gotta be proud of that one. That is an excellent photo of lava flow.

BAD XSP Battery wanted - dead batteries wanted

Sounds like a big job. Aren’t those smart batteries, which would entail the connection of a circuit board? I’d like to find a way to upgrade one to see a 6-7,000 mAh battery. That should make a bird fly 30-35 Min w/o too much extra weight. Seems DJI is doing something like that with the mavic...

    Photo and Video apps

Try Affinity. Similar to photo shop, but a one time fee vs. a monthly fee for same amount. If you don’t want to do much post processing odds are there some free ones that may already be in your computer. Windows or Mac?

Last Hawaiian XSP Drone Flight :(

Arizona is going to be a major change for someone spoiled by Hawaii. Deserts are typically filmed in close up since daytime desert views tend toward bleak. Noon light washes out color badly, but sunrise and sunset sky’s offer reds, purples and pinks (sun reflects off airborne dust which is...

ND Filters (when and how to use)

Augustine's description of the quad as a camera on a flying tripod is spot on. Filters make finding that sweet spot where the shutter speed and aperture provide just the right depth of field much easier. I like to mate an ND filter with a circular polarizing filter (CPL). CPL's adjust and...

Feb 18th Sun Rise 360 pano

Thanks for the insight into Litchi. 50 photos: I thought he selected all of the photos on the page to make his pano. Once you pointed out it was 18 I saw my mistake

Feb 18th Sun Rise 360 pano

Pretty photo. Snow is such a nice accentuation for any landscape photo. Question; Been looking at pano programs for my Mac & as I research them, Litchi seems to be a DJI product, right down to offering waypoint programming as one of its functions. Will it work instead of Starlink? issues with...

    Kamchatka, Russia

Nice video. Every time you post one I want to visit eastern Russia. The ND16 certainly added depth and color. I'll be intrigued to see what you can do with a graduated filter, now that you have one. The debate over graduated colored filters isn't so much holy war as class war. There are...

XSP does not frighten birds !

Excellent example of thinking outside the box. Appreciate the tips. I thought you'd flown the drone into the nest whilst they were gone and powered it up later. Your solution is more practical.

Don't think I have ever had cause to use something like ND 1000 before, but the snow conditions you experience would certainly stretch the limits. . What's your take on freewell? glass? Plastic? Distortion? Been looking for graduated nd and color gradients, and notice they make them.

Drone reel XSP (5 months of flying)

The derelict ship and Parson Estate Ruins were like scenes from a post apocalyptic movie or video game scene. Was a slick thing to capture on film the way you did it. I like the vignettes.

XSP does not frighten birds !

I never thought of the drone as a prepositioned tool for photographing habitat. Great idea. I presume the motors were off? How long did you have to wait for them to return?

Great spot to film. The addition of the dog was a nice touch. Yaw isn't particularly apparent in the final product. Did you need to use either a polarizing filter or an ND? Snow is hard to film, frankly, I think one of the hardest things to film, because it's so bright and everything else...
