Who did you buy it from and where are you located? Most of the resellers of Autel stuff have stock in the US and ship pretty quickly. I'd just call your credit card company at this point and initiate a chargeback, then find a reputable dealer to buy from.

Update to this... Got an RMA number and UPS call tag for the controller from Autel. So we'll see how it goes from there. Hopefully I get a working controller back soon. --Chris

That's likely because by time you get to that level of drone, the buyers aren't usually "youtubers who like to strut" and do reviews and such. ;) That being said, there are a bunch of folks here who own Max's that have practical knowledge of the drones that can help. --Chris

There are many things listed in their specifications that are not yet available unfortunately this may be another that's a supposed 'future enhancement'

The optical zoom is pretty nice on the 4T (that's kindof the main reason I upgraded from a 640t), the Alpha has a better optical zoom, but the 10X on the 4T is likely fine for you.

You can just use a wifi hotspot if you want to connect to the internet from your controller. I don't use the dongle, just wifi hotspot on my phone.
