    Thank you Elroy. I believe you guys. I’m wondering why Autel support couldn’t tell me this. I think their rep would not SLOW DOWN and listen to my question. A lot of that going around these days.

    I’m not a fan of hand launching or retrieval. I like to retain all 10 of my fingertips for playing piano and prefer not to have dueling scars on my face. But that’s just me.

    I think your roll up table solution is pretty elegant. You might eat to incorporate a couple of perpendicular strips you slide in to act as spines and keep the table top straight.

    Thanks but are you positive about this? Is it documented anywhere? I ask because when I posed this to Autel support they said if the go home was invoked ( via low battery or or signal loss) it would drop to the go home height ( max 650’). That would put me at 2650’ - still in the trees.

    New Autel XStar Premium owner ( I got a good deal on a lightly used one). I’ve some experience with the better quality toy drones ( Holystone), but wanted the XStar to photo map some mountain property.
