I had the same problem. I talked to tech support and couldn’t get much out of them other than the maps are provided by Map Box.

It could be, they are years old in my area. I talked to an Autel support rep who said they use MapBox, and I have no idea where they source their mapping from, it could very well be Bing. I can’t understand why it’s not updated with more recent map data. I thought it would pull from the internet.

I meant to write I have the smart controller 3. I’m not sure if that makes a difference or not. it seems ridiculous that the moving map on the controller is so badly out of date.

The map on my SE v2 controller is badly out of date, maybe a couple of years based on the lack of construction on the map vs current residential development. How do I get a more current map? Some of the buildings that I want to map aren't even shown as having been built yet on the SE controller...
