    Sorry, 1.5.8 yeah,stay away from that upgrade...they replaced 2 of my batteries with the same issue as yours and i'm not on 1.5.8 great cust, service for sure

    In addition to a sun shield, try using the Histogram, its made a huge difference in my shots !!

    Compass calibration issues

    Couple of things to try....zero metal on your person (belt,watch,etc) while doing the calibration,and step 2 of the calibration, point Evo up instead of down, that's helped others,,,and if you just got it ,let it sit at least 5 mins to gather satilitites so GPS is correct...
