I just flew and did not see my drone in the Drone Scanner App. I’m looking to buy another drone and seriously considering moving to Yuneec.

I installed the most recent firmware update, which showed in the “What’s updated list” RID for European regions was included. I’ll fly tomorrow and see if the Drone Scanner app on my phone picks me up.

Chris, I could understand if I had posted something in violation of the terms and conditions or offensive in the past. I purposely avoid this because I treat people the way I want to be treated.

GFields, What you are stating here is not 100% accurate. The FAA did not extend the RID requirement. They created an “Enforcement Decretion“ policy and were supposed to publish it on 15 SEP 2023, but I haven’t confirmed it was published. What this means is the will decide on a case by case...

The Dronescanner app didn’t see my drone. I was connected to my home wifi and had Bluetooth on, but saw nothing. Dronescanner is supposed to be the one, which captures the most details. It saw nothing.

I would be suspect, if like me, an app like dronescanner cannot see your drone transmitting a RID. There are penalties for falsifying FAA Registrations, whether wittingly or unwittingly.

I am going to try the Air Sentinel app on my phone tomorrow. Online videos show this app not reporting as much as the dronescanner app. If I don’t see the drone, I can pretty much go with the drone not transmitting yet. The DOC dies not show my SN, but the FAA accepted it, so I was hopeful.
