Smart controller V3 functions change based on gimbal/camera unit?

I have a Dual 640t v3 and am considering buying a 6k gimbal. I wonder if the functionality/UI I already have with the Smart Controller would change, simply by virtue of (for) changing the gimbal/camera.

Yes, it is supposed to sense the camera body in use.
