Yuneec FPV and EVO 2 connections

Waiting for the EVO 2, so would like advice if the following might work. I have a Samsung S8 phone and 2019 iPad Pro 10.5”(wi-fi only), both with USB-C ports. Can I connect a USB-C multiport hub to them (I’ll try the iPad first, but if it’s too heavy, I’ll use the phone), then a USB to USB cable from the hub to the EVO controller, and an HDMI to micro HDMI cable from the hub to the Yuneec goggles ? (would save getting an nVidia shield tablet)

also, do I need GPS on the iPad, and if so, use the phone in my pocket as a mobile hotspot and tether it to the iPad. Will that be enough ?

The radio of the Evo 2 is the same as the Evo 1, I will not go ahead but there is no video stream output at the output of the radio plugs so I think it's screwed up more 'HDMI unless you get it directly from the tablet if it has an HDMI output.

The hub will not work. I already tried it. You do not need a GPS to fly. You can tether from your phone to your ipad, but still wont have GPS.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I thought the latest hub may have upped the specs to allow it - looks like an nVidia tablet after all !
