V.2 Ent. Dumping Underway

Hokey Smokes, Bullwinkle!
But is that really an Enterprise? Or a 640T? (No RTK port in pics.)

B&H can move all of them by the Dec 16 deadline, if anyone can. (Shouldn't be too many left? Autel got a 3 month reprieve on the non-built-in RID drop-dead already.)

First thought is most manufacturers can build devices for 1/10X MSRP, so that they don't necessarily take in in the shins when on closeout... with the ban on DJI in certain branches of US government, the V2, Enterprise, 640T were all good placeholders for Autel to stay in the queue until the Remote ID shakeout. If all V2 did for them was help hold market share, they could probably afford the hit for their halo folding quad.

One reason may just be that they have X number left that they need to sell before the manufacturer's RID deadline a week from now.
Another is the V1 and V2 cameras are NOT interchangeable/compatible with V3 aircraft with the new Skylink video transmission protocol. Potential fleet purchasers should be so forewarned

Ken.B has said that the v.1-v.2 cameras are NOT compatible with v.3 craft.
I don't think any software improvements come with the v.3 craft at this point either. Software is where Autel is going to live or die by, in addition to or lack of support, of course. The craft are capable, but the software is crude by comparison to DJI.

Autel Robotics at CES 2023: Meet Max, Reach New Frontiers

Dear Friends,

We want you to join us at CES 2023.
CES 2022 was a phenomenal event, where we met with over 15,000 customers and launched our EVO Nano and EVO Lite Series. Since then, both models have won multiple design awards and over 10,000 users have put their industry-leading features to use. We are humbled and honored.
We’ve continued to push our technical and creative boundaries, with breakthroughs in our EVO II and Dragonfish lineup. These products are bringing in a new wave of capabilities for industrial and professional applications and we’re continually amazed by the ingenuity of our customers. We haven’t stopped listening and learning from them.
We aspire to lead the development and adoption of drone technology worldwide. The entire Autel Robotics team is excited for what’s coming next and we promise that you won't want to miss CES 2023.

Booth: 18315
Venue: LVCC Central Hall
Date: 5-8 January, 2023

The Nano Plus successor will be announced with vertical filming and better props for quieter filming. Sadly it will still have the very hard to control flight characteristics and no manual video settings in Log or HDR.

I agree. Autel under a previous CEO promised that the evo airframes would be a constant and roll over to the recreational drone side thus supporting and reducing costs on things like batteries. Now they are announcing no software updates after 2023 on a then $9500 bundle!😡. I love my 640T. And it’s features but feel bent over by the current trajectory of Autel
