SkyBrowse Drone Mapping and Modeling

Has anyone looked at or tried the SkyBrowse platform for aerial mapping? They use video instead of stitching photos to process their maps and 3D models. It looks pretty impressive to me.
 
I can't speak from experience using the application. But I've seen it demonstrated and it's focus is fast 3d modeling for things like accident and crime scene recording. I don't think it is the best solution for mapping.
For highly detailed 3d modeling where time is not a critical factor, I doubt it would give you as good of results. But, again, I have not used it.
 
I watched the podcast. Indeed, they only talk about public safety applications. Thanks again, Dave.

Yes, that is their focus. For topography or detailed 3d modeling, the applications that stitch still photos is superior. For now anyways. If speed is of the essence and/or the scene needs preserved, that is the niche that Skybrowse is aiming at.
