Next, see if it works with the base, with no base NTRIP connection. any thoughts?

WOW... it works. RS2 Base, no corrections from NTRIP, NTRIP corrections turned off. EVO RTK still obtains a fix from the receiver. I cycled power off and on, on the drone to make sure. Photos are the controller and reach view app side by side showing all the details. Enjoy flying EVO and base without NTRIP... Note see the receiver is in single!

Also, a huge plus with the use of a BASE is 60km distance from NTRIP instead of 8 or 10km

huh..not following this comment?

All good news. How long did you occupy the point with your RS2 to obtain FIX?
Apparently, the EVO RTK has to be around with in10km away from a mount point to be able to connect to NTRIP. Using a base station you are good to connect to NTRIP mount point up to 60km a way.

RS2 gets a fix in around 1 to 2 min. Also, I would assume working with a base station you're going to have a much stronger connection to the network and or just the base itself if you don't have network.

Is Autel able to work in RTN? For now i'm recasting corrections by myself and creating Virtual Refrence Station (Virtual base calculated from few bases position) on coordinates that i want. In every newer NMEA compatibile rover, real time position is send in GGA message in short interval, and the distance from base station fits within few meters. (Works perfectly with RS2, stable fix in max 5sec.)16297334101166656255415664414229.jpg16297334612424429100952091589812.jpgIMG_20210823_172811.jpg

Hi, @jmason702 If you can confirm that every .obs file from Autel is empty for now? Thats information from another users.

Unfortunately no. I don’t know if we have any plans for this. We strictly support ntrip running rtcm 3.1,3.2

Sorry , late to the party. I’m not sure what he is saying?

I will say for ntrip to work well you need to be within 14km of mount, under 10km is ideal.
When using a RS2 as a base, and the base is connected to NTRIP and the base sending corrections to the drone, you can be up to 60 km away from a mount point. I can send corrections from the base to the drone.

With what type of accuracy hit?

Not sure a 60 km but I was around 20km away using the base to send NTRIP corrections to the drone with 1.5 cm accuracy. also, I turned off NTRP coming into the base and still the drone gets a fix from the base.

Interesting. Thanks for the information.

can you explain the 2nd part? You still have RTK set to on, on the craft? You still receive corrections?

Yes, I turned off NTRIP corrections to the base station, powered drone on that is receiving correction from the base, RTK is on, on the drone, got a fix in 30 seconds and took off with 1.2 to 1.5cm accuracy. Also powered the drone off and on again to make sure it still worked.
See in the photo, corrections is off on the Base Station, on the left a perfect fix on the drone
