Looks like it has the NTRIP to connect with the EVO II V3 NTRIP client. You know of anyone building a base using this chip? Wonder about $$.

I am really new at this. Is this all that is needed? Is this a ground station?

Yeah I have come across that as well and it looks like an excellent way to get into the hobby..

For a few more bucks you can get the all on one RTK Facet unit.

Pretty sure the emlid RS2 uses the same uBlox ZED-F9P GNSS chip.

Yes but at $2500-$2700. another option would be the Emlid Reach M2 L1 L2 GNSS Receiver with multiband GNSS Antenna $850..00

I think I am getting too old for learning this stuff lol. I thought I might start a business doing mapping but maybe I will sell the RTK module and just have fun with it!

Emlid actually has some great tutorials as well. There are some good YouTube channels that explain it pretty well also.. Or you could look into a drone mapping course from a reputable organization then decide if it is for you.
