Got a couple questions about the evo after 50 to 75 flights. Excuse my ignorance as a newbee.

1. Do the props wear out from normal use after a limited number of flight?
Seems like my props are tighter when opening up. No problems spinning open so far it just seems they are stiffer.
2. Is it normal for the motors to get hot after flying for say 20 or so minutes?
My motors are usually pretty hot to the touch after a good flight. They would be uncomfortable to hold onto but not really blistering hot.

1. It's a yes and no answer. They do wear over time. It is recommended that you observe them after 1 year and maybe replace them, but I have met people who have flown theirs for 3 years and still going strong. They are made from a durable material. The most common thing you might observe is they going out of balance. If you are lazy like me, you will replace them instead of re balancing them.

2. Yes, it is completely normal. My motors gol the way up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 Fahrenheit) on a normal flight. I live in the tropics where is hot and humid all year round. Those who live in the desert, it is recommended not to fly in extremely hot days, as the motors will always run hotter than ambient temperature.

Hope it helps.

In my opinion the props aren't going to wear out from normal regular use. Only replace if and when the props crack, broken, frayed etc (also confirmed by Autel). Before flights, I usually inspect them along with other steps I take as part of my pre-flight check.

Normal for the craft/battery to get warm or hot to the touch especially when flying on warm/hot days. I also never leave the batteries/craft in a hot car after flying.

Range of temps to fly the craft : 32°F~104°F according to Autel but I usually fly all my crafts within a range of 40 degrees to maybe 90 degrees.

Thanks people,
That's about what I thought with hot props and wearing out naturally. I check them each time I fly the evo, although they are somewhat scratched up from getting too close to tree limbs. But that is another story. Thanks again, I will keep watch.
