Does anyone know how to put an overlay into a drone video? like a housing development plan overlay into the flight video of the land?

Or know a how-to video?

Yeah, I would need a file type to be able to upload into the editing software I would assume

To get your map, go to the state you want the map to be found
Type in "STATE" GIS then search for tax maps, or property boundries. or tax parcel viewer ( each state is different
Your should get something like this
Tax Parcel Viewer
Find your area that you want to use as an overlay
either download the map or do a screen print (PC Windows key and "Print Screen"
save it as a jpeg, png, or PDF and import it into your video
You will need a program that does 3D to move it around to different views

Use the Mocha motion tracking application. You have to select the target area in your source clip, then use Mocha to track the motion from the original image, then via Mocha replace your artwork. Mocha can be used directly with other less complex NLE platforms like Hitfilm, Boris Red or as an image sequence in Sony Vegas
