Hi. Is this Mavic 3 version using thicker neoprene than previous versions?
Yes we were able to take advantage of the size and power of the M3 as is can lift and fly with 25 ounces so we increased the Wet Suit Weight to 0.06 ounces .

This gave it a nice protective cover all the way around as well as making the drone fully compatible with the Firehouse arc v lights . We created the Custom bands to strap over the Lights and lock in tight using the Surge Mask on the Wet Suit under the drone.

The same straps and Surge Mask are used on the Evo 2 and its effortless to apply and change the position of the lights , much better then the velcro we struggled with every year.

Will post more pics as we get them for the Evo 2.

Thanks. Does the thicker material improve the water resistance?

Thanks. Does the thicker material improve the water resistance?
It does , it provides more depth and room for redirect of the Exhaust and it ability on its own to cope with the rain. When you add the Pressure of the compression band and the seal , it all works together nicely.

The White gets dirty quickly which is why that white setup is a labor of love, you can use windex for a quick clean up.
Goo gone also works well to clean the Neoprene back to its startling white .

And for the camera, you didn't do anything!
A pair of wipers would be welcome ...............View attachment 8248
Weird facts about flying in the Rain.
Most of the time rain never shows up in the video footage .
Rain drops rarely ever get on the lens , and when they do , there gone very quickly.
You can gain a number of skills when flying in the Rain to negotiate it.
The key is not to panic, so you keep a level head and the Wet Suit allows you to do that.

This is a video that was sent to me by a client.

I get quite a few questions about how the Wet Suit looks like its blocking the Air Release vents .
Its really and Optical Illusion that your seeing as the System works incredibly well to protect and redirect the Air flow.

Yes we do have all White , and you can use Goo gone or Windex to Keep it Clean, and you will need to do that as that Brilliant White shows every bug, smog and insect you go thur. Keep that in mind.

Its Custom Order as well, but we can do it for you.
Thank you

We took the Concepts that worked incredibly well with the Mavic 2 pro and the Phantom 4 Pro Wet Suits and modified them to the EVO II Pro

We took Creative License as the Blocky Design was hard to look at so we changed that a bit rather than follow it.

We followed the Same Design and engineering on the Wet Suit for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro Vents where air can still move freely but rain cannot get in.

We added the Water Proof Plugs

to the top sensors as heavy rain can compromise the Sensors on top

We found the Power Button not to be water proof and easily pressed so we changed that and Added a Power Button Seal on the Wet Suit - It Protects from the Rain and accidental pressing of the power button

We Sealed the back of the Battery using the Same Seal System we used on the Mavic Batteries
where we covered the seams and use the 3M adhesive to keep it secured to the drone.

On the Bottom of the Drone is the Surge Mask that acts as a drip off for the rain.

The Idea is was to keep the Neoprene as thin as possible and to keep the Weight to 1 ounce or less.
Make the drone more Water Resistant to with stand extreme weather conditions.

We always choose a more minimal but Functional Approach with just a little bit of design.

The install takes about 5 minutes
Weighs about 1 ounce

Even if you dont plan on flying in the Rain,
we think the look is an improvement and the Non Slip grips is nice as well as protecting the battery from accidentally powering on.

As with all of our Wet Suit will be flying them in the Rain every chance we get.

The Battery and the Vents are the Weak Links and why we developed the Wet Suits.

It would be better if there was a video

One of our clients just Reported that there getting an Extra 7 Minutes in the Exteme Cold do the Thermal Properties of the Neoprene .
This is great news for those flying in the Extreme Cold with snow coming and harsh Condtions.

Got a really nice Testimonial !!

My company just bought a Wet Suit for an Autel Evo 2, and I "installed" it. I've used an Evo 2 with your company's wetsuit before, and loved it. Flying drones in Maine, the temperature and climate complicates work site conditions.
I'm a huge fan of this product, and want to make a (how to install) video.

Thank you for your time!
