NEW AUTEL EXPLORER APP: constantly updated (ver. 1.1.8.8.1 Android version) - (v. 1.13.0 for iOS) 19/04/2022)

Also found V1.1.7.36 has added rename mission capability when you are editing a mission. This is a good addition. Next we need to have import/export mission to be able to move missions from one app/device to another. Perhaps similar to how sync flight records works across dev/app, and/or export file and activate the import function that is partially there. While at it, import a kml would knock it out of the park.
Where are you finding this beta app version? Is it available to the public yet or do we need to wait until the final version is released?

From my research I could only find V1.1.7.17 for the Evo 1 and V1.1.7.19 for Evo 2 (Explorer App).

I'm guessing the Evo 1 isn't likely to get any more updates so the 17 is its final version. Is that correct?

Go to the top of this thread and there are instructions for getting the beta. The Autel download site mentions V1.1.7.19 (non beta) for Android for E2P (did not look at Evo I). Not sure what they are or will be doing for Evo I.

Thank you. It looks like there is not a link to the newest .36 version yet so maybe when the official release is available we can get it too.

No worries. You are correct, wait for the general release, or, get the beta.

It's not an option for me, even as a retired IT tech, to download or access the beta so I will let you good people have fun with it while hoping to see the final release any day now.

kml import is already here. But you need to add alltitudes and actions

Thks, got it to work on prod version, however not on beta version (not surprised). Noticed that it does not print POIs in, however those could be manually entered, along with alt and actions. Also noticed that to get the kml or other new subfolder to appear, had to go up the dir tree a ways, then navigate back down to explorer and then the items appear. This will help to move some missions from Litchi and elsewhere.

Any word on how solid this beta upgrade is at this time? I understand it's still in beta but is it good enough to use at this point or should we wait a while?

Maybe not a fair question. I don't know who or how many people have tested it in the field. Rather not see a fly away if I can help it.

I'm not seeing anything in this update that would would negatively affect flying or transmission ability. Am I correct in that observation?

If you can wait, wait, stability has been good, however have seen some oddities in missions where actions not done as expected, not sure if bug or just something different.

Thanks. I guess I'll wait a while and see how it goes.

Looks like there's a matching firmware update as well. I look forward to hearing what those who tried this think about these two updates.

Likewise, will be interesting to see, hear any comments about the new fw, as well as new app/sw.

To get the Beta you are suppose to click the link above correct? When I do I get a message that my Google account isn't authorized for it. Does that mean I cannot do it or did I do something incorrect?

Thanks for any help.

That is the beta. If you look at post #45 I had the same issue on March 4. Open the pic. It was not release to the public yet; only the "invited" beta testers. The link in post #49 is the beta released to the public. Us. Now we too can be guinea pig testers. ?
