As the weather is always raining at home, we must play differently.
Mission: hold the propellers so as not to be bothered when going out and entering the bag.

Elaboration of a propeller blocker:

And the realization in flexible TPU.

Well it works, but ...
As my friend says to me, Coluche, It's beautiful, it's good, but there are still propellers underneath, still wandering there.

Second juice:

And the second realization in TPU Flexible.

That's pretty cool. Would it do okay printed in PLA?
Are you planning to share the STL?

Not to print it in Pla Or Abs, the arms must bend a little to pass and maintain the rear propellers.
Pla is too rigid and would damage propellers and bodywork.
Doing it in a soft material is preferable.
It is quite feasible also in a piece of hard foam.

Gotcha. I'm still pretty new to 3D printing so I watched some videos. NinjaFlex is pretty expensive and I would need a different extruder.

What other ideas do you have for Evo-related prints?

See my other post : "My impression of the Evo"
I just finished developing the new gimbal protection. She will leave to print.

A rubber band can't justify the purchase of a 3D printer. :)

Everyone has his thing, there are those who prefer the well-done and those who prefer the tea towels. moqueur dji.gif
There is also the pleasure of doing it, an occupation like any other.
There are those who spend (and lose) their time at the bistro, me, I take care of it differently and it is more pleasant.
Here I just finished the piece, out of the mold, it fits immediately on the Evo.

Is this large enough to allow filters to remain on the camera and still put the guard in place?

Yes, I have the Polarpro filters and returns without problem.
At the nose, there is 2mm, 2mm, 5 between the filter and the protection, so a filter a little thicker can pass.
Moreover, it is finished, the original will serve as a spare part.

Good to go, a little last for the road. ... Drastic reduction of the filter box = more space in the bag .........

Compared with the original box

I'd love to find one that will fit with circular polarizer filters on ....which are typically quite a bit thicker than nd filters...
