This is the second thread I've read about this problem. Hopefully it gets addressed by Autel with a fix.

With limited hours of flight time, less than 20, I've not had this problem yet.

Sorry to hear about your crash, I would certainly push Autel to review and replace your drone.

In my opinion, there have been too many problems with this Evo 2 for a little while, I am starting to seriously doubt Autel's reliability in this new drone.
This is just a personal impression.

As I know from a long running correspondence with Autel, the logs are not accurate at all. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and it does not record critical data from the flight, such as altitude, when the flight is . My advice is to keep hassling Autel and ensure that you get feedback from people on this forum. A modern drone should not crash into the sea like that.

Sorry to hear about your crash. I know from personal experience that losing the drone in the water like that is heartbreaking. You were very resourceful to get a diver to recover it. I would send the drone and data log files back to Autel. If they can't fix it, they could send you a new drone.

iami and you can barley fly anywhere here without going over water. I worry to death everytime the drone goes out over the water. I've heard so many problems with this drone it makes me sick to think after paying so much for a drone they might not help you. This could happen to anyone of us. I hope autel steps up and does the right thing. Not just for you but for all of us that this will eventually happen. To.

Also they told me not possible to charger of fix that 100% because when take off issue so I'm really messed up.
What do you think , Crash from my side problem ? they told me your problem 50% and they can do 50% cover .

Seejake, just to set the record straight, my drone loss in water was a Yuneec Typhoon H. It was a totally avoidable mistake on my part. I launched it with a full battery that was VERY cold (freezing, a problem you won't have in Miami). The voltage dropped so fast, it auto-landed in the water before I could get it back home. My EVO II has been very dependable. I fly it over water without worries.

93.6km is perhaps the speed which it takes during its fall.
I would see it from another point of view.
With the number of issues they've had since the launch of this Evo 2, they're starting to understand that replacing every drone sold with a new one in a crash is no longer reliable and profitable for the company. If for a company, a purchased drone = a free drone, the result is a loss. There comes a time when we stop the losses or the second choice, we close shop.
