Live feed mirroring from cell phone (android) onto big screen TV

Hi,
Has anyone tried to mirroring EVO's live feed from cell phone onto TV?
In my mind that should work. I just purchased Google Chromecast (3rd Generation). I think I will need to mirror the cellphone screen.
Any thought/suggestions?

An Android tablet with HDMI output might work better. I've tried screen-casting techniques but the problem is they rely on the same spectrum the drone uses to fly which doesnt work so great if you're in a noisy RF environment. It wasnt very stable at all.

Autel sell their new LiveDeck for $399 which can do HDMI out more reliably but its not cheap.

What about using an app on your phone that simultaneously streams what your phone screen sees while the Explorer app is running? Seems like it would work. Anyone tried this and if so, what app did you use?
