thanks.. i think i'll hold off for awhile i'de figure getting drone confiscated would be skating.. all the violation prob rack up to $20-60k after studying what other guys have been busted for.
I'm amaized there not an unanimous website that host videos without signing up and recording ones computer id.., this would get more truth out into the public's eye while protecting reporters
Sorry, my answer wasn’t based on posting potentially illegally obtained video online, it was being caught capturing the drone video in the first place. Big difference! There’s a bunch written about this:
“Anything that restricts the duties of emergency services is against US law, so drones can’t fly near emergency situations. They can impede access for other aircraft, such as helicopters, and can be a hazard for operatives working below. In June 2016, California firefighters were
unable to deploy helicopters because of drones hovering over forest fires. This behavior
carries a fine of up to $25,000.”
In CA, I was threatened with arrest for photographing a fire at an industrial site, until I could prove I worked for the company...

(a) (1) Every person who goes to the scene of an emergency, or stops at the scene of an emergency, for the purpose of viewing the scene or the activities of police officers, firefighters, emergency medical, or other emergency personnel, or military personnel coping with the emergency in the course of their duties during the time it is necessary for emergency vehicles or those personnel to be at the scene of the emergency or to be moving to or from the scene of the emergency for the purpose of protecting lives or property, unless it is part of the duties of that person’s employment to view that scene or those activities, and thereby impedes police officers, firefighters, emergency medical, or other emergency personnel or military personnel, in the performance of their duties in coping with the emergency, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(2)
For purposes of this subdivision, a person shall include a person, regardless of his or her location, who operates or uses an unmanned aerial vehicle, remote piloted aircraft, or drone that is at the scene of an emergency.
