For the past few weeks I've been having an issue with the Explorer app displaying moving black and white bars in the brighter areas of the screen. This occurs on the newer beta Explorer app and also the V10.0.1.8 app. The images stored on the SD card are fine and also if not using a phone the live camera image on the controller is fine too. I am using a Samsung Note 4. For the first 2 weeks of flying the phone was fine but then I've started seeing these bars. I've contacted Autel support and the only recommendation was to uninstall/reinstall the app. I did that and it did not help.
Here is an image from a screen capture. These bars show up on all parts of the image - for example on roadways and rooftops, etc.
Very, very, annoying.

Those bars are showing you where the image is overexposed. You can make adjustments to your exposure to get rid of them. You should also be able to turn off the overexposure bars in the app. The bars will not show on the recorded video or photo but you will probably have areas that are at least a little washed out. I don't know where in the EVO's app you should go. I fly the X-Star Premium, and I have a selector that allows it to be on or off.

Thanks!! I think you're right - I just found an overexposure warning setting in the app on the camera settings page. I'll turn that off and do a test flight this afternoon but that looks promising. I even spoke to an Autel support person on the phone about this and they didn't know what it was.
Thanks again.

No sweat! Surprising Autel didn't know about it. I do remember seeing a YouTube video a while back that talked about it.

Thanks again - great forum here. I watched A LOT of vids on the Evo before purchasing it but missed this one.
