so I procured an x star, with three batteries on eBay for 175 dollars.

Too good to be true, right?

right.

when it showed up I’d plug the batteries in and there was a green light on the power supply but non on the little fan/connector module.

ok. So the charger must be broken. Let’s order a new one.

NOPE. Autel has apparently discontinued the charger, as a stand-alone item.

so I created an account on here, linked up with a fellow autel user, and purchased from him a bunch of accessories (most of which I didn’t even need, but he was a nice guy, and I needed the charger.)

so I plug the new charger in. There is a green light on both LEDs. Great. It works.

then I plug it into a battery and the light goes out, and nothing happens.

I’m about to lose my mind. I’m aware, you get what you pay for! And I’m aware I could buy a couple new batteries and still call this a good deal.
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about what might be happening.
