Download images from EVO II and/or Smart Controller

In my most recent mission, images appear to not be recorded to the SD card. I found all the mission images on the Smart Controller when connected to the aircraft. Also found a function to select all the images and "download" them to "somewhere". Images appear to be high resolution. I have poked around in the controller app looking for a file of the "downloaded" images. What is needed to copy these images to a Windows computer?

Also, how can the images be forced to record on the SD card?

To transfer to a PC you need only a USB-C data cable (not a charge-only cable). The Evo II has to be powered up, however.
When you install another MicroSD card after one previously filled up and the Evo II auto-switched and recorded to internal memory (or if no card was detected and it auto-switched) you may need to reselect the save location again as the SD card in Settings
