What do you think about our media's new headlines today focusing more on the "Blue-list" of drones related CCP security issues? Specifically, the prominent DJI manufacturer and it's associated software analogs.
Who thinks it will affect Autel ? If our government shuts down imports from DJI, how much will it affect my Autel drones in the future? The coverage was today on FOX news (channel 54) their financial segment with
Maria Bartolomeo. She hit on this topic numerous times. Makes we wonder.

pretty sure the gut's of the Autel comes from the same land-mass as DJI guts. No cert for DJI, No guts for Autel.

Manufacturing is 99% of the time still done in China. However, the concern in the US is about the whole product beeing made by a company based in China. Autel has their HQ in Bothell, WA, but they're still owned by a company called "Autel Intelligent Technology", in China.

HOWEVER, a thing that Autel does and DJI doesn't, is beeing transparent about what software they use and what components they use.
That's the whole reason the V2 series is a thing.

It's not made because of the chip shortage. They made that to replace the chinese ZTE chips inside the V1 drones, and use american/taiwan made ones. I'm pretty sure they're using MediaTek chips now, which are made and designed in Taiwan.
