The dimensions of the harness are 3.5 x 2.5 x 3.5". The lights can be stored inside the harness along with the charging cables. They are now in stock here at Advexure: Autel EVO II FoxFury Lighting Kit

See this picture which is the slot in the Autel EVO II Hard Rugged Case by GPC. The slot is a T that is 3.75 wide at the top, the top section of the T goes down 1.5", and the overall height of the T is 3.5" In the GPC case the slot is 3" deep and the kit sticks out the top by about 3/4".

I made my own 10,000 x2 lumen spot light by taking apart 2 headlamps with 7 LED lights in each. I took the light fixture out of the metal casing and replaced the heavy battery with a light weight 3S 11.1V. I attached the 14 lens in total to the light switch and attached the 3s lipo battery to the other side. It works amazingly well and is very light for its amazing capability. The headlamps cost 35 dollars each and the battery cost about 20 dollars. The light lasts about 1 hr total run time at full brightness. I suppose it puts a 20000 lumen spot light out. At 100 ft its like daylight. At 200 ft its like dusk. It still can see completely dark roads at 400 ft. It only takes off about 5 to 8 minutes of flight time.

Just ordered the Autel Evo 2 Foxfury lighting kit, after reviewing this neat lighting assembly it’ll also “with minor fabrication” allow the attachment of the Drone Sky Hook release & drop device to easily connect underneath.

I’ll share more later when I get everything put together, will use bottom lights from Evo 2 to activate the release and drop device. I think can also use the drop and release device to turn on/off the two 300 lumen light strobes during flight, pretty sure it’ll allow this with minor wiring connected with plugs for easy disconnect for storage.

Can’t wait!
Paul

Update with the Drone Sky Hook release and the Evo II Fox Fury lighting kit, and thank you Advexure for the quick delivery of the fox fury light kit.

Was able (without damaging) to connect the sky hook assembly to the Fox fury attachment, sky hook snaps onto the Fox fury light assembly using little fabrication to hold on tightly. I didn’t want to damage the Sky hook assembly so it could still be used on the Mavic Pro 2, originally this sky hook was designed for the Mavic 2 Pro and fortunately can still use it on both.

Using the Autel Visual Navigation menu, then switching the Auxiliary bottom light off/on quickly it’ll activate the sky hook drop system. The sensor is mounted directly below the forward bottom light, hopefully all will test out well and I may need to turn off obstacle avoidance won’t know until I test this outside on a mission. It’s a rough setup but appears to work, only issue is pressing the on/off on touch screen as sometimes the delay cancels out the activation. Usually, if not first try it’ll activate on second or third try. Good enough for me, once it drops that is the main purpose even if it takes one or two additional try’s.

I’ll test it out today, if weather permits,

Paul
