changing orientation

Is there a way to change the orientation for the starlink app on the device? I have a Ipad Air....Help.

Short answer - no. If you're asking because the bracket only expands enough to fit the iPad in a vertical orientation, then the solution is to rotate the bracket. I use an 8" Tab S2 and rotate the bracket so that it expands upwards and downwards.
