Can anyone offer a fix and or reason for this gimbal drift. During a hyperlapse the EVO2 or the gimbal moves or drone moves.

In this hyperlapse video, the gimbal or drone shifts. They become misaligned with the camera pointing at the left front prop by the end of the video. Why did it do this? And or what can I do to keep it from doing this?

I assume in the Timelapse mode Evo 2 needs fixed far object in scene which is used to hold camera direction. All your scene (clouds) was moving and Evo's camera followed it.

I will try it next time I am out but I agree with you; I think autel has a problem with their gimbal when the angles are sudden or extreme. the gimbal will jump or lock up as if it is confused.

I was wondering why the props became more and more visible as the video timelapse progressed. I assume the gimbal was pointed slightly upwards. The gimbal must have rotated while the drone did not. We don't usually see that much gimbal rotation to stabilize an image.
Pretty cool clouds though!
