Auto vs Manual vs shutter priority vs aperture priority switching problems

I must be missing something here, but I am having trouble switching camera modes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
It usually lets me switch once in a flight, but not more then once. The other options are greyed out.
This morning, I switched to manual, but could then only control the shutter speed.

It seems to work otherwise.

Since the last update, have seen something similar, have thought it a problem with the controller button. Likewise have seen similar with camera mode settings doing what you described, then they start appearing again.

For example, start video ok, stop, then take a photo ok, take another photo ok, then try to take a video and button does not work. Push the soft button on the app display to switch from photo to video, press the soft red video button on display, then the controller video start/stop works again for a bit. Have not verified if it is a specific controller or a sw/fw issue.
