Are Autel Explorer and Explorer V2 both compatible with EVO II v1...? If yes, what are the advantages of Explorer V2? I use an iPad pro and both would seem to work.

No. Explorer V2 is not fully compatible with Evo II v1. Waypoint Missions, which now have ability to smoothly traverse waypoints (rather than stop at each waypoint), are not compatible with Evo II v1.

From my understanding, I don’t think Explorer v2 is compatible with Evo II v1 or maybe I'm wrong.

Explorer V2 Does not officially support V1.

Explorer V2 app has coordinated turns in mission features and minor bug fixes.

That’s exactly what I needed to know. Thank you very much even though I have the version two drone and I use the Explorer app it seems to be having connection issues. Thank you again you rock.
