Wanted to know if some of you out there know how good /bad these are.
My main concern is the fact that the angle needed to communicate with the bird would be hard to achieve if using a 7 inch or bigger tablet. From what I can see, they would be pointing towards the ground unless I tilt the controller towards my body which would be very uncomfortable.

Might go ahead and give this a try with my XS/Nexus 6... reviews for the Phantom version seem mostly positive.

I have a location that gives me reliable trouble with video link so that should be a good test. Will let you know how it turns out!

What if you rotated the antennas downward but still parallel... basically flipping the antennas upside down?

Was thinking just that today TJ,

So tried it when i got home and sadly they will not rotate down. They will only go to their closing position which is horizontal. They must have a rotation stopper built in.
