4 Hawks range extender for Evo.

Does anyone have any helpful information on extending the Evo's range?
Have used the external boosters with great success on my other drone.
Not sure i,m sold on the 4 Hawks raptor SR, only 8dBi gain on each 2.4 and 5.8 frequencies.

Don't worry about 5.8, Evo doesn't have that.

I recently installed the 4Hawks Raptor XR for Autel Evo. It is quite a large device but very easy to install and uninstall. Only flown once but the results were phenomenal.

3.4 miles without a single hiccup and only returned because I was over the Caribbean Sea and the return was upwind.

I usually freak out after a mile in distance. I am thinking myself, what if doesn't return... Then I bring back my baby Evo.

Just did 3.5 mi out, 7 miles total with stock antenna (no booster needed) and had great signal throughout. Held 3-4 bars signal strength even though messages would pop up intermittently saying weak signal - video feed was clear the entire time. I also turned back home since I was flying over water and didn't want to chance fighting wind on return. Have screen recording of flight. Thinking 4 Hawks might be useful in a more wifi congested area though.
