Wow, that's interesting. I've never seen that option. Which version of the app are you using for this? I am on 1.0.1.45 I believe.

I tried it with the old explorer app, and it didn't work. I must also say that it is very disheartening to know that a person can spend so much money on a drone that has certain features, and then watch those features disappear in a later firmware or app update. :confused:

Any changes to the waypoints mode? It is totally useless without the option to insert POI's among other shortcomings. At least give us yaw and gimbal control during a waypoint mission execution.

Not quite sure what you are saying....are you saying that the older Explorer app DOES allow for Yaw adjustment during a Waypoint flight? If so, how can I install the older version?

I saw a video that showed that you could change the yaw of the AC while the waypoint mission was being executed. I could only adjust the gimbal pitch. But not the YAW. Also, Why can't you set any POI's? All waypoint programs have options to set POI's, but this doesn't. What's up with that...

oh yeah, totally legal. There are areas right near the shore where you can launch right out over the water without flying over anybody. Beautiful views of the city, Alcatraz, GGB, Bay Bridge, ships rolling into the bay. One of my favorite places to fly. Gonna go out there as soon as this...

Don't worry, I've done my home work. I'm well aware of the NFZ in and around the Golden Gate Recreational Area. It is OK to fly from Treasure Island and fly toward the GGB and get shots of it from the distance.

No...new one is on the way already. This was brand new, so I'm within the 30 day return window. They sent me a prepaid return label. I'm about to run it down to FedEx now. now just a few more days wait......? Hopefully the new one will be free of any issues.
